Pacing a party for young guests
Young children enjoy a party that changes pace every so often. We alternate lively games with calmer moments: something to do while friends arrive, a round of host-led games, a show, the candles and cake, then a short burst of play before the goodie bags. For most ages two hours is plenty; older children with a magician or a bouncy castle can happily go to two and a half.
Plenty of Abu Dhabi families celebrate at home or in the villa garden, whether that means a lawn in Khalifa City or a party room in an Al Reem tower, so little guests travel less. From October to April a shaded garden works well from late afternoon; in the hot months we move indoors or start after sunset. If you would rather use a play venue or a party hall, we can arrange one on request and bring the styling, cake and entertainment there.
Ideas by age group
- Ages 3 to 5Bubbles, music, simple dancing games and a short mascot appearance. Keep it brief and set out chairs for the parents.
- Ages 6 to 8A theme the child chooses, face painting, a treasure trail around the garden and a magician who invites little helpers up.
- Ages 9 to 12Team challenges, a garden sports day, a craft table or karaoke, with less dressing up.

How a two-hour party can run

Tips for parents
- Send invitations around two to three weeks out and ask about allergies when people reply.
- For under-fives, plan roughly one adult helper for every five or six children.
- Ask your community or building management about bouncy castles, music and access for our crew before the day.
- Let the child's favourite theme, such as a superhero day or a unicorn garden, set the colours for everything else.

Questions parents ask
How many children fit a home party?
Packages are planned around 15 children, with more added per child. Space is the real limit: beyond about 30 children, a big lawn, a building party room or a hall gives everyone more room.
Is food for the children included?
Kids' catering comes with Platinum, and Silver and Gold can take simple add-on menus such as mini sandwiches, pizza and fruit cups.
Can we hold the party at a play venue?
Yes, on request. We fit around the venue's own slot and package and add whatever it does not provide, such as styling, cake and entertainers.
What about summer birthdays?
From May to September we plan indoors, in an air-conditioned room or a building party room, or start after sunset when a garden has cooled down.
